Make a dive plan
Employ TDI Tables to effectively plan a nitrox dive, incorporating EAD calculations. Develop a concise dive for a nitrox dive, ensuring compliance with a maximum operating depth (MOD) determined by a partial pressure of oxygen (PO) between 1.3 and 1.6, tailored to the prevailing environmental conditions.

Work shop
During the workshop, you will learn the correct use of the oxygen analyzer, ensuring you can accurately assess oxygen levels. You will also cover proper cylinder management and labeling in accordance with practices and regulations. Additionally, we will conduct a simple pre-dive briefing, which you be practicing before your dives in this program. You gain experience in programming the nitrox computer with the appropriate oxygen percentage and logging at least nitrox cylinder analysis, including the operating depth (MOD) and oxygen content.

Dalton’s Law of Partial Pressures
Dalton’s Law of Partial Pressures is an exciting cornerstone of Nitrox diving! It tells us that the total pressure of a mixture is simply the sum of its individual partial pressures. Here's the formula: Ptotal × Gas % = Ppartial As you plunge deeper into depths, total pressure (Ptotal) rises, and does the partial pressure of oxygen (PO2). But watch out! If PO2 exceeds safe limits (typically .4 ATA), it can become toxic and even lead to seizures! Dive smart and stay safe!
