Make a dive plan

Utilize TDI Tables toly plan a nitrox dive, incorporating Equivalent Air Depth (EAD) calculations. Establish limits based on oxygen exposure at the planned depth with the actual gas mixture. Define parameters according to nitrogen absorption at the intended depth using the actual mix. Accurately calculate and document CNS loading for each dive, including exposure. Ensure the nitrox computer is programmed with the appropriate oxygen when applicable.

Work shop

In the workshop, you'll learn to use the oxygen analyzer for accurate oxygen level assessment and discuss cylinder management and labeling per regulations. You'll participate in a pre-dive briefing to practice before your dives, gaining experience in programming the nitrox computer with the correct oxygen percentage and logging nitrox cylinder analysis, including maximum operating depth. Additionally, you'll demonstrate understanding of gas labeling per local regulations and prepare equipment for oxygen (Oâ‚‚) service, programming the nitrox computer as needed.

Tech TDI level skills

Demonstrate buoyancy control by hovering in place without using hands or feet, while effectively communicating and working with your dive buddy and team. Manage regulator free flow, execute a shutdown, and switch to the backup regulator. Perform a safety stop with neutral buoyancy, share air with your buddy, and maintain proper body position and trim while. Conduct a stress analysis for yourself and your dive buddy.
